What JustGiving, Enthuse, Raisely and LaunchGood charge a charity in 2026

Platform fees mostly went to zero. The costs moved onto Gift Aid, donor tips and regular giving. Here is where, from each platform's own pages.

29 September 2026Kode by Kraftcostsstrategy

"No platform fee" is now the norm for online giving. That is good news, but it doesn't mean the platform is free. The cost has moved, and it has moved somewhere that grows as your fundraising does. These figures come from each platform's own pages, checked in September 2026. Prices change, so check them yourself before you rely on them.

JustGiving

  • £0 platform fee on charity fundraising.
  • Card processing at 1.9% + 30p per donation for standard methods.
  • A 5% administration fee on the Gift Aid JustGiving processes for you.
  • Donors can add an optional contribution (a "tip") to JustGiving.

Enthuse

  • Gift Aid collected on your behalf for a 5% fee on fundraising pages and events.
  • 0% on Gift Aid through donation checkouts on its Donations 0% Fees package.

Raisely

  • By default, donors are asked for an optional tip to cover the platform's costs.
  • If you switch the tip off, the platform fee is 4% (excluding tax) of all transactions.
  • Moving your regular givers across is free, but Raisely charges 2% on the payments it then collects from them. Facebook and Instagram fundraisers set up through its integration are also charged 2%.
  • Card processing is charged separately by Stripe or PayPal.

LaunchGood

  • 0% platform fee.
  • Supporters can leave a tip for LaunchGood at checkout, and LaunchGood says over 70% of them do.
  • Card processing is charged separately.

What the headline figure leaves out

Gift Aid. A percentage of Gift Aid is a percentage of money HMRC is giving you. On £75,000 of Gift Aid a year, 5% is £3,750, every year.

Tips. A tip is paid by the donor, not the charity, so it doesn't show on your statement. It does come out of the same generosity, and on some platforms it is offered by default.

Regular giving. Where a percentage applies to regular gifts, such as Raisely’s 2% on regular givers migrated from another platform, your most loyal donors are the ones it is taken from, month after month.

When one of these is the right answer

For a small charity taking modest online donations, one of these platforms is often the cheapest and quickest way to start. The percentages matter more as income grows, and once you also need a website, a donor database and Gift Aid handled properly, the comparison stops being platform against platform. Work out the total for your own numbers, not the headline.
